Corby Series Now Has A Competition

Sometime back, I wrote a lot about Samsung Corby -how the good appearing phones got all the focus for its affordable pricing, specially from the younger section of the group. This past year in 2009, different Corby series hit the market and all did well. Actually, there was no other mobile phone manufacturer to compete with the Corby series. Well, now there is one. Nokia just announced its 5800 series.

And like mentioned earlier this series of Nokia would give tough competition to the well set up market of the Samsung Corby series. Few Corby series that are worth mentioning are Corby Pro, Corby 53653 and LG Cookie. Nokia series is way better than Samsung Corby when it comes to Internet and Usability. Above all, they are less expensive. A thing people on the lookout for inexpensive cell phones would love to possess. Nokia 5230 will come for 8K and 5530 for 11,750. And the major thing that differ between Nokia 5230 series and Nokia 5530 is their display screen. 5230 is a little bigger than 5530 series with a 3.2 inches screen length. However, one aspect where Nokia series does not match Samsung Corby is its not-great looks as that of Corby.

Seems this timeSamsung Corby will have good opposition from Nokia. But you can never predict, Samsung may perhaps introduce some new system in the Corby series or lessen the prices more to retain consumers and not loose the business to Nokia. We will have to wait and watch how Nokia performs.
